Baby shower cake and food ideas?

I need to a recipe and decorating ideas for my baby shower cake, there is no theme to the shower but im having a girl.
Any food ideas are also great. Any ideas help thanks!

I know that wasn’t helpful but here are some ideas:
Depending on what time of day you have it, you could have a slumber party – that was you get to be in your jammies and slippers and feel as comfortable as every non-pregnant guest! Food
Remember you are needing fresh food, no deli meats and no soft cheeses…………if everything is cooked you could have a fair go at it!
You could go sweet or savory or both……….. You could have a casserole party and everyone bring a dish to share and you could do the sweet stuff and cake.
Its easy for you to provide a purchased cake and add the decorations yourself – you can put little butterflies and booties on it………. easy to find in the stores….
Above all – be comfortable, include even the smallest neice/cousin and feel well loved.

Planning a co-ed baby shower and I would like some input on the decorations?

I’m already avoiding pretty much all of the standard baby shower decorations. The invitations are very bright and colourful and I’m planning on sticking with those colours instead of pastels. What 2 colours do you think would go well together? The shower will be for a baby girl but the colours certainly don’t need to be gender specific. What are some things I can decorate with so the guys don’t feel more akward then they probably already do with attending a co-ed shower?

Have you considered pink and brown decorations? It’s a modern way of decorating for your baby shower. Baby Showers nowadays don’t have to have pastels, pretty much anything goes nowadays.
I have also seen black and red for a ladybug baby shower theme.

Is it ok to have baby shower after second child who is seven?

My sisters are talking about throwing me a big baby shower and I feel a little bad about it because it is my second, but my son is seven and I am having a girl. I don’t even have a crib anymore and it would be nice to have a shower. I just don’t want people to think I am tacky. Also my husband’s family has not said anything about a shower so I don”t know if I should invite them to my other one?

Where is the rule book that says how many showers a person can have? I say if someone is willing to throw you a shower and people are willing to buy you gifts then GO FOR IT. It would be different if you had saved your baby items from the first child. But you didn’t. I would invite the in-laws too. Better to let them say no to coming than not to invite them at all. Those who come, will come to support you. Which is what you need.

What is a good baby shower theme for a boy?

I am 30 weeks pregnant with a baby boy and going to have a baby shower soon. I did precious moments with my daughter, I just don’t know what a good baby shower theme for a boy is. Any suggestions?
