As a newbie Shower organizer, you’ll learn pretty quickly that one of the toughest aspects is dealing with the invitations, and one of the reasons for this that your choice of baby shower wording has to be just right.

So, where do you start with invitations? Well, the first thing to decide upon is the cards. That’s a whole separate issue, but, basically, you have three choices:

Baby Shower Wording – Sorry, But Spelling Is Still Important

There are just a few rules to think about when it comes to baby shower wording – and one of those rules is spelling. We may not all be walking dictionaries, but we can take a few moments to check what we’ve written for mistakes, and correct them. A single spelling mistake on a baby shower invitation can seriously weaken the impact of the message, and so you want to be extra careful in this regard. If you are a professional shower organizer, then it is essential that you protect your name and reputation by always being vigilant about spelling in all your correspondence with a client.

If you have written your baby shower wording using a word processing program, such as Word, or Open Office, then you really have no excuses for genuine spelling mistakes, as the spell checker will save you from the usual goof-ups. But beware: you may still fall foul of using correctly-spelled words that you didn’t mean to use, especially if you have auto correction enabled.
